What's new in October
Live badges on events racing today, kudos for a sailor's result, story cards for your best placings, and a stack of new tools for event photographers.
Buy your photos straight from the photographer
Event photographers can now sell downloads on Mainsheet. Favourite the shots you love and pay for them with Apple Pay; the photographer is paid directly.
Run your club's events on Mainsheet
Club and association admins get their own console to manage their details, members and events — and events can now have several organisers.
Event galleries, organised by boat
Event pages now open on a stack for each boat instead of hundreds of photos, with a new full-screen viewer and photos tagged by boat name as well as sail number.
Regatta results, collected and checked
Mainsheet now collects regatta results from Sailwave and sailingresults.net, re-scores every series, and keeps them alongside the event's photos.
Class associations, and Mainsheet on your website
Class associations get their own page and events, and clubs and associations can embed their events and marketplace listings on their own websites.
Newsletters for your class
Mainsheet now sends newsletters for class associations, with marketplace listings for the class built in and a one-click unsubscribe.
Regatta day: sign-on kiosk and dolly tags
Two tools for the sign-in desk and the dinghy park — an iPad sign-on page that subscribes sailors to their photos, and printed dolly tags you can scan.
Introducing the Marketplace
Buy and sell boats and gear through your club — listings from sailors in your class, in-app messages, watches and a printable listing with a QR code.
Find your boat's photos by sail number
Mainsheet now reads sail numbers in event photos, and emails you when there are new photos of your boat.

Keep a record of your boats and gear
Add your hulls, sails, spars and foils to your profile, with their manufacturer and serial number.
Club pages, and photos that load faster
Every club gets its own page listing its regattas, and event galleries now load resized images only as you scroll to them.
Your sailor profile
Every Mainsheet sailor now has a profile — the sail numbers you follow, your avatar, and a home for the photos you favourite.
Where Mainsheet started
Mainsheet began as one simple idea — every photo from a regatta, on one page, findable by the sailors in them.
